About the Club
The Millburn Magic is the Northern NJ member of the Women's Premier Soccer League, an independent national league representing the highest level of women's amateur soccer in the United States. Formed in fall of 2007, the Magic compete in the East Coast Conference, and play their home games at the beautiful Keith A. Neigel Stadium at Millburn, NJ. The Magic organization provides the opportunity for elite players from Northern New Jersey to progress through the US soccer system by competing in a national level league. We are committed to bringing top quality women’s soccer to Millburn, and to the growth and development of youth and adult soccer throughout Northern New Jersey and the United States. Our model is the provision of quality family entertainment to our supporters and involvement in the community at large, while enabling true progression for our players through youth to senior teams that do not conflict with school or other club programs. Each year, our roster includes players with previous professional and international experience, along with the best of local talent from Millburn and northern New Jersey. Our players are strictly amateur, typically playing with high level college programs through the Fall and Spring, coming to us mid-May through the start of August. The league as a whole is comprised of the best amateur teams from across the United States, as well as with fully professional reserve teams from several professional clubs, including Boston Breakers, Philadelphia 2010, and FC Gold Pride. ![]() Rachel Fell and Kat McKenna were English Women’s Premier Players who starred for the Magic in 2008 |
