| For the second time in 10 days, the Millburn Magic staged an impressive second half comeback to register a 3-1 victory, this time overcoming local rivals the New York Athletic Club at the Travers Island complex on Long Island.

| After an outstanding performance by Laura Kurash in the Magic's 3-1 victory over the Adirondack Lynx last week, the midfielder was named to the WPSL week 4 Team of the week.

| The Millburn Magic took their unbeaten two three games this Saturday, with a comfortable 4-0 win over WPSL provisional team the BuxMont Torch. The torch will be entering the league as full members in 2010, and this year play a partial schedule, although this game against the Northern New Jersey team will have shown them the level they need to step up to if they are to enjoy success.

| After two games on the road, the Millburn Magic returned to New Jersey to host the Adirondack Lynx last night at Millburn High School. After trailing 1-0 at half time, the Magic fought back for an exciting 3-1 victory. The win reignited the New Jersey team’s play-off hopes, while stunning conference co-leaders Lynx, who had entered the game with an impressive 3-0 record.
